We’re running daytime and evening Alpha courses this Spring:
Daytime: Wednesdays 11-12.30pm, starting on 10th May 2023
Evening: Tuesdays 8-9.30pm (includes a meal), starting on 16th May 2023.

Alpha is a great opportunity to explore life and faith in a questioning, friendly, open and informal environment. It is a series of 8 interactive sessions that explore the basics of the Christian faith. It is ideal for people who are not yet Christians and also those who are fairly new to faith, who are wanting to explore what following Christ might mean for them.
With Alpha you can ask questions and learn at your own pace. You will not be expected to pray or know anything about the Bible. There is no singing and there is no pressure; you can come to the first session only, if you like. It’s all free of charge (including the food) and we provide course booklets for you to refer to during and after our sessions.
We eat together (hot meal in the evenings, coffee and cake in the daytime groups plus kid’s snacks), watch a short Alpha video together that covers a different topic each week. Topics include: ‘Is there more to life?’, ‘Why did Jesus die?’, ‘Why and how do I pray?’ and ‘How can I make the most of the rest of my life?’. We discuss what we’ve learned together and ask any questions we like. You can just listen if you prefer – it’s pretty informal!
